About me

Jasnine Designs is a contemporary visual artist and muralist known for creating empowering portraits that merge fine art, fashion illustration, and graffiti into a distinctive style she calls Urban Elegance. Her work explores themes of female empowerment, resilience, and transformation, celebrating the strength and complexity of women through bold monochromatic portraiture and expressive urban influences.

Best recognized for her striking black-and-white murals of inspiring women, Jasnine's artwork can be found on public walls throughout North America, including Toronto, Montreal, New York, and Miami, where she brazenly takes on large-scale murals that transform urban landscapes into symbols of empowerment and hope!

A graduate of Montreal's prestigious LaSalle College with a degree in Fashion Design, Jasnine began her career as a graphic designer before transitioning into full-time art in 2020. Her background in fashion illustration, surface design, and branding continues to influence her distinctive visual language.

Working with acrylics, oils, and aerosol, Jasnine has developed a signature lace technique that layers delicate lace over painted portraits before applying transparent spray paint, creating intricate textures that symbolize resilience, femininity, and the strength found within vulnerability.

Her murals have been commissioned by organizations including StreetARToronto, Calyx Wellness, and Kirsch Cosmetics, where she completed a two-story, 2,500-square-foot mural—her largest public artwork to date.

For Jasnine, art is both a form of healing and a call to action. Through murals, fine art, and immersive environments, she hopes to inspire women to embrace their resilience, pursue their passions, and design a life they truly love.
